Man I looove seeing stories and its characters evolve, and I’m not just talking about story/character development. I freaking love it when characters grow and get makeovers, or when certain events unfold that cause drastic, permanent changes. I want to see stories that change and actually go somewhere, instead of always sticking to the old.

From what I’ve seen, this seems to be quite a sore subject among fans. A lot of people tend to get upset over seeing characters getting new designs (ex: TOME) or something devastating happening that significantly impacts a character/the story (ex: The Legend of Korra). While I can understand why some fans might feel that way, I don’t understand how a story evolving is such a “terrible” thing and why some people react so negatively to it.

For me it’s a breath of fresh air to see stories and characters grow and change; it’s exciting! I hope I’m not in the minority.

No

There are so many Futurama episodes that make me cry. It’s unfair.
